Location
The state-of-the-art center, which was completed in December, 2007, provides a new and unique environment that meets children's developmental needs as well as the national quality standards and local licensing requirements for child care centers. In addition to the indoor classrooms, there is an infant/toddler playground and a separate playground for preschoolers and pre-kindergartener children.
Center Quality & Features
- NAEYC Standards: The Children's House offers a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum. The center meets and, in some cases, exceeds the accreditation standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) -- a highly regarded child development organization. NAEYC standards are only achieved by 8% of all 110,000 programs nationally. 78 CCLC centers are NAEYC accredited, and another 10 centers that are in the accreditation process. The center will apply for NAEYC accreditation when eligible, typically after one year of operation.
Low Ratios: The center operates with low teacher to child ratios and small group sizes. This allows our teaching staff to focus more on small group and individual needs of each child.
