The Children's House Information PagesRegistration & CostsWho is eligible to enroll a child in the center?First priority for enrollment into the child care center is for full-time and part-time HUD employees. Second priority for enrollment is for full-time and part-time employees of other federal agencies. If spaces remain available after all first-and second-priority personnel have been accommodated, they are open to the public. Employees of HUD and federal agencies have priority enrollment over other groups if the center has a waiting list. Employment status and eligibility will be verified before the enrollment process can be completed. Can I enroll my child on a part-time basis?Yes! We offer part-time schedules at 3 and 2 days per week, as well as drop-in care. If you are interested in 4 days per week, please indicate full-time enrollment on your interest form. We will accept drop-in enrollment for children not enrolled in the center on a full-time or part-time basis for when normal child care falls through. How do I enroll my child in the center? Please download an interest form and e-mail your interest form to HUD@cclc.com or fax it to 202.708.3340. We will be in touch to let you know if there is space for your child or if you will need to be placed on the waitlist. What is the cost to use the HUD Creative Child Development Center?Tuition rates for enrolled families are competitive with other child care centers in the DC Area. Tuition rates can be found in the forms section. HUD offers tuition assistance for HUD employees with a family adjusted gross income of less than $70,000. Please see: http://hudatwork.hud.gov/po/arh/eap/cctap.cfm. The Board offers assistance to HUD employees at all income levels.
