High Quality Child Care For Your Family
The Shores Child Care Center
Where is the center located?
The center is conveniently located at 1050 Twin Dolphin Drive, off Highway
101 and Holly near the Pacific Athletic Club. This is approximately 1.5 miles
from Oracle
What programs are offered at the center?
CCLC offers regular full and part-time child care for children ages 6 weeks
through Pre-Kindergarten.
- The center can accommodate 156 children each day
- Up to 100 spaces have been reserved for Oracle family use
- 22 of the 100 spaces reserved require Redwood City residency
The center offers a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum with
low teacher/child ratios. We plan to achieve accreditation as soon as possible
by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) --
a highly regarded child development organization
(www.naeyc.org).
What are the center's operating hours?
The center is open from 7:00 am until 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
How do I enroll in the program?
Go to the Registration and Costs section for enrollment information.
Please note that the center currently has a large waiting list but we are
accepting waiting list forms.
Does CCLC offer Back Up Care to Oracle families?
Yes, but on a space available basis only. The center is full but
on occasion can accommodate up to two consecutive days of care for
Oracle families. If you are interested in this program, download
the Back
Up Care Registration form and fax it to the center at 650-594-1230.
To make a reservation request, contact the center Director, Priscilla Wong,
at pwong@cclc.com with the
date and hours care is needed. If space is available Darcy will
send you a reservation confirmation. The cost of back up care is
$50.00 per usage, payable at the time of drop off.
Will Oracle also develop childcare access at other Oracle locations outside
Redwood Shores?
Although Oracle recognizes that childcare issues are not limited to the
Redwood Shores area, we currently plan to provide a near site child care center
in Redwood Shores only. This decision is based on the results of the Child Care
Needs Assessment, the limited supply of childcare services in the Redwood
Shores area, and the large number of employees in Redwood Shores.
Priority Access For Oracle Employees At CCLC Centers
How does the program work?
Visit the locations on the CCLC web site and the centers that interest you. Feel
free to contact the Director about the center, if the center cannot offer you the
schedule you desire your family will be on the priority waiting list before
community members are enrolled. Some of our centers have two-year waiting
lists so this will be a significant benefit.
